Our purpose is to lift up Jesus Christ as we preach, teach and live God’s inspired Word, the Bible. We seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit so that we are in a real and loving relationship with Jesus and one another. This is the church, the family of God. From The Pastor

Welcome to the Grace ACC web site. We hope you will browse through the pictures and articles and catch a glimpse of some of the ministries at Grace.

Let me take just a moment to tell you a little about us, and our purpose. Our name, Advent Christian, began back in the 1830’s and 1840’s when a Baptist minister in eastern New York began teaching and preaching with such urgency about the second coming of Jesus Christ that over a million people from Washington to Montreal heard the truth of the second coming of Christ. Out of this movement several denominations were born. Among them were the Advent Christians.  That is what we are, Christians who believe in, and look forward to the personal, literal, glorious, and universal return of Jesus Christ

Here we are in 2008, closer than anyone has ever been to that return. As Titus 2:13 reminds us, we are “looking for that blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great Lord and Savior Jesus.” Wow that is exciting, but it also gives us a lot of responsibilities. We have a tremendous amount of work to do, because many of our loved ones and peers are not ready for that return.

 “I’m so glad I’m a part of the family of God;

I’ve been washed in the fountain, cleansed by His blood!

Joint heirs with Jesus as we travel this sod;

For I’m part of the family, the family of God.”
